How Does Gazette Franchising Work?

Unlike many franchised businesses, our franchise fee is very low with payback achievable within the first quarter.

We will be involved in every magazine that is produced by every franchisee.

Gazette Franchising Limited will carry out all artwork on each magazine, using advertisements, local community news, dates of events, etc., brought in by the franchisee. These may be supplemented by generic articles, puzzles, cartoons, etc. held in our databank, set up for this purpose.

Gazette Franchising Limited will also take care of the printing for every magazine, working to a time-scale agreed with the franchisee.

The principal roles for the franchisee to carry out are:

  • To make contact with all business, companies, organisations, etc., in their allotted area, and to sell advertising space accordingly. The manual provided with the Franchise package gives advice and guidance on the selling techniques to use.

  • To organise distribution of the magazines on a door-to-door basis within their allotted area. Again, the Gazette Franchising Operating manual will give advice and guidance of how to carry this out efficiently.

What Experience Is Needed?

The essential factors required are:

  • Enthusiasm and commitment to make your magazine work and to make a successful business for yourself.

  • Some experience of PC and Internet usage.

  • You should be friendly and outgoing.

  • Some knowledge or experience of sales processes would be a major advantage, as the principal source of income is from selling advertising to local businesses.
