Franchisees have
the opportunity of earning a four-figure monthly sum from the
first month, and within 2 months should be able to recoup their
franchise fee.
After 15 years
experience of producing door-to-door delivered local community
magazines we decided to expand the range of our publications by
offering franchises.
Producing such publications can be be
broken down into five principle elements:
- Selling advertising
- Assembling the artwork
- Printing the magazines
- Organising the delivery
- Preparing invoices, collecting
payment etc.
Gazette Franchising Limited have made
it easy for franchisees by taking on the artwork and printing
elements, leaving the franchisees to concentrate on selling
advertising space, to organise the deliveries and to deal with
their own accounts.
Franchisees are provided with a
post-code area to work in suitable to their location, and a
comprehensive operating manual giving advice and guidance on the
selling procedures, how to organise their deliveries, and how to
set up an appropriate accounting system.
Local community magazines, if
prepared in a presentable fashion, do WORK – there is no
doubt about that - they aren’t discarded quickly like some free
local newspapers. And because they are truly local, many
local business will advertise month-after-month.
We have spoken to many local
businesses who have become disillusioned with advertising in
Yellow Pages and other similar publications, mainly because they
are one of many offering similar services. In our magazines we
carry details of only 2 or 3 business offering similar services.
All we are asking of the franchisees
is that they have the motivation and desire to make a successful
business for themselves and the discipline of sticking to a
regular monthly production schedule.
Our franchises are offered for £3,200
+ VAT. In addition franchisees are giving a schedule of
charges that will be made for artwork and printing based on the
number of pages and the number of magazines that they will be
producing in their area.
